Introduction
Geolite has grown from a combination of love of geodesic domes, lighting, years of festivals & events, engineering, creativity, sacred spaces & geometry.
Last year was amazing! We supplied domes to a diverse series of events right up to Christmas, supplying the smaller domes as Santas grottos!
This year we are increasing our range of structures, starting with a 3v 7 metre diameter dome. We are also increasing our stock of accessories to include, new dance floor, carpeting and linings.
Advantages of using Geodesic domes are: Clear span open space - Extremely strong construction - No guy ropes or protruding stakes - Visually appealing
At present we can supply domes from 4.4 metres ( 15' ) in diameter to 10 metres in diameter ( 32'8" ). We can also source larger domes from our database of other dome suppliers.
All of our structures conform to safety standards required for hiring, including fire safety.
All of our hires are covered by public & employers liability insurance (on signing hirers contract). We also work to MUTA codes of practice and Health & safety at work act.
We can also design & supply lighting systems for your event, as well as source a wide range of services inluding, generators & electrics and PA systems.
Due to the diversity of distance, duration, transport and quantities, all prices are on application only.
When planning your event, please take into consideration the suitability of the location. Are there any underground or overhead services (electricity, water pipes, gas etc.) where the dome(s) is/are to be sited? Is the ground level enough and suitable for staking? Is there suitable vehicle access?
